The plasma smoke and odor removal equipment was developed during the industrial development process. The plasma exhaust gas purifier, also known as the low-temperature plasma exhaust gas purifier, has a main structure of a spray packed absorption tower. This product has a wide range of applications. The exhaust gases such as hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, as well as sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, cyanides, etc. emitted in the production processes of chemical, light industry, printing and dyeing, pharmaceuticals, machinery, electronics, instruments, steel and other industries can be purified satisfactorily by using this equipment.
The plasma exhaust gas purifier has a small footprint, combining the tower body, absorption liquid tank, circulation pump, and absorption liquid pipeline system into a complete set of equipment, with a compact structure that is easy to install and operate on site. It occupies a small area and has obvious advantages whether installed on the ground or roof slab.
The plasma smoke and odor removal equipment adopts a defogging design, which overcomes the common phenomenon of mist entrainment in traditional spray towers. It is not only beneficial for environmental protection, but also does not further reduce the supply of absorption liquid.
The energy transfer during the reaction process of plasma transfer of chemical energy in plasma smoke and odor removal equipment is roughly as follows:
(1) Electric field+electrons → high-energy electrons
(2) High energy electrons+molecules (or atoms) → (stimulated atoms, stimulated groups, free groups) active groups
(3) Active groups+molecules (atoms) → products+heat
(4) Active groups+active groups → products+heat
Plasma exhaust gas purifiers are mainly suitable for surface modification treatment of various materials: surface cleaning, surface activation, surface etching, surface grafting, surface deposition, surface polymerization, and plasma assisted chemical vapor deposition.
